Rajasthan Public Service Commission has recently published an advertisement for the recruitment of the candidate for the Assistant Agriculture Officer vacant posts in various departments. RPSC is going to recruit candidate for filling posts of Assistant Agriculture Officer. Applications are invited by the department from the interested and eligible candidates. Applicants must be aged between 21 to 35 years. Upper age limit will not be relaxed for General candidates. However, upper limit will be relaxed for 5 years for OBC/SC/ST category and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidate as per Government rules. Examination fee for General and Special BC (Creamy Layer) candidates is Rs. 350/- and for Non Creamy Layer BC & Special BC candidates of Rajasthan, the fee is Rs. 250/-. Application Fees for SC/ST/PH candidates of Rajasthan is Rs. 150/-. Application fees should be paid using e-Mitra/CSC or using net banking.
In terms of educational requirement, one needs to pass in B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.Sc. (Horticulture) Honours of University established by Law in India or its equivalent, with Working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and Knowledge of Rajasthani Culture to be considered for Assistant Agriculture Officer Post for RPSC AAO Recruitment 2017.
Selection process to select the right candidate for this recruitment is based on written examination and Interview. According to these two process aspirants are selected. At first candidate will go through the written test. Exam will include multiple choice questions. Only the qualified candidate from the exam will go through the Interview. After the completion of this test applicant are selected for the desired posts. The candidates will be paid Rs. 9300/- to 34,800/- with a grade pay of Rs. 4200/- per month.
The Exam consists of 2 papers. The question in both the paper will be set both in English language. Paper – I includes 60 questions from General Hindi and 60 questions from General Knowledge, History & Culture of Rajasthan. Total mark allotted to this paper is 120 marks which to be completed in 2 hours. Paper – II includes 120 questions from Agriculture. Total mark allotted to this paper is 120 marks which to be completed in 2 hours. After the written exam there will be an Interview.
